Dave Uehlinger executes Eagle Ray’s financial strategy to ensure the company is positioned to thrive in the current economic environment and can adapt to future conditions. He has responsibility for finance, accounting, contracts and leads our M&A growth initiatives.
With more than 20 years’ experience in accounting and financial planning and analysis, Dave has worked as finance controller across all business areas: corporate, sales, product and operations. He began his career in government contracting at BTG. He went on to work at Time-Life and commercial software companies CFI ProServices and Mentor Graphics. In his most recent position at NeoSystems, Dave provided financial and accounting services to more than 70 customers. Dave’s extensive knowledge of Defense Contract Audit Agency requirements gained from successful DCAA system audits, incurred cost submissions, forward pricing agreements and provisional rates submissions benefits Eagle Ray as the company grows.
Over his career, Dave has managed enterprise system implementations including SAP; Deltek GCS Premier Accounting; Hyperion base reporting software; iDashboards, an executive dashboard tool; Cognos Enterprise Planner; and Deltek Time and Expense. He fosters the cross-functional collaboration, teamwork and energy it takes to make these projects successful.
As CFO, Dave drives accuracy and compliance in Eagle Ray’s auditable accounting records, ensuring capture and availability of financial performance data for corporate stakeholders. He ensures that Eagle Ray enhances its robust financial growth and performance by leveraging people, processes and systems.
Dave’s professional memberships include the Professional Service Council, American Small Business Coalition, National Contracts Management Association and the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce. He earned his M.B.A. from George Mason University and his B.A. in Government from The College of William and Mary.
